ILCA 6 (Laser Radial) Composite Lower Section

The ILCA 6 / Laser Radial composite lower mast section is designed to demonstrate the same bend and performance characteristics as the aluminium sections. While there should be no performance advantage, the composite sections eliminate the bending problems associated with aluminium spars.

The Australian built ILCA 6 composite lower sections feature:

• composite tubes designed and engineered by CST Composites in Australia;
• ILCA gooseneck and mast tang fittings;
• reinforcing bands at gooseneck and mast base; and
• stainless steel protective bands at deck and mast step / hull level known wear points.

All E6 lower sections are supplied complete with an ILCA QR code label.
