Sailteck GPS Compass

New for 2026 – the Sailteck GPS Compass. From the designer of the original TackTick, the GPS Compass does everything the Sailteck Race Compass does, plus speed over ground, heel, trim, line distance and Bluetooth sensor support – with the highest-precision GPS in any dinghy instrument.

ILCA sailors please note: ILCA Class Rule 22 only permits approved, magnetic-only compasses, so the GPS Compass is not class-legal for ILCA racing unless electronic equipment is specifically permitted by the Sailing Instructions (e.g. some club racing or training regattas – check with your race committee). Two keymats included:

• Red keys – full functionality including speed and line distance
• Grey keys – restricts the display to Race Compass functions (heading, countdown, time of day) for class rule compliance, while still logging your GPS track and using Sailteck LIVE

Swapping keymats takes seconds and doesn't affect waterproofing, as the keymat sits outside the seal.

Sailteck LIVE – free software upgrade from November 2026*:

• Race start – with Sailteck units on the committee boat and pin, the start time is pushed to the fleet and OCS boats see an OVER message so they can return. No subscription.
• RTK race start – the built-in RTK-capable receiver can deliver centimetre-level line accuracy (additional committee equipment required).
• Live tracking – built-in 2Nm radio sends your position to the committee boat, no 3G trackers or mobile network needed.
• Track sharing – Sailtecks share positions on the water, so every competitor goes home with the tracks of the whole fleet for race replay.
